May 2018 was a fairly busy month for the Composer Riccardo Maira, whose compositions have been performed in occasion of various Concerts and Festivals in some of New York City's major Concert Halls and Venues. The Composer was also awarded the City University of New York’s “G. Fontrier” Composition Award, a prestigious Award conferred by CUNY in recognition of special achievements within the composition field. The Award was personally conferred to the composer by both the Director Dr. David Schober and the Former Director Dr. Edward Smaldone.
